Use What I've Got -St. Patrick's Day

I am getting  a "little green with envy" looking at all the blogs out there filled with cute little St. Patrick's Day decor and crafts....
I am NOT Irish...but I decided this would be a great
"Use What I've Got Challenge!"

So off to the "Sweetwater Store" to see what GREEN stuff I've got!

The Baker's Rack in the kitchen was the obvious spot to display some St. Pat's Day Decor!
I didn't want to spend any money since this isn't a BIG holiday....
This is what I came up with!

 Simple and NO Cost!
I am not done yet...hey there are still 10 days to go..

The candle holders are old metal furniture legs with some faux copper paint on them...maybe I will add some candles....maybe not..

And hey....the "really expensive" $6 metal pomegranate I bought last week at the thrift store looks pretty darn good with them!

I love this great looking green Fiesta Ware Pitcher....

I piled a bunch of natural looking items on a wicker tray....

Added some green cloth napkins....

I glued some "lucky pennies" to the cork and copper candle....a take off on a craft I pinned  here!

Paired it with my thrift store "Rumrill"  find from last month....

Stuck a shiny shamrock on the menu pig!

Found a print of the Chicago Skyline with a St. Patrick's day theme...

Framed it in a thrift store frame....

And....

Sure and Begorrah!
We are ready for the Leprechauns to visit Sweetwater!

May you have the hindsight to know where you've been
the foresight to know where you're going
and the insight to know when you're going too far.
An Irish Blessing

HMMMMM!

Great job using what you have! I love the "lucky" pennys on the candle and also your "natural looking things" - haha, love the way you said that, those twig-like balls things are really cool.

Are you a fellow Midwesterner OR just showing a little Chicago love? Nice improvising with items on hand for a festive St. Pat's feel!

I love decorating for holidays but I dislike buying items and then having to store them until next year. I love this idea of using what you already have. I am hopping from Katherines Corner Blog Hop and having fun today:)

Thanks for linking up for Sunday Blog Love, I love your concept of using what you have...and adding touches of green does really say spring, St Patrick's Day without breaking the bank plus it lasts more than up to a specific holiday. Love how you've decorated your space!
