My Favorite Boutique!
There is just something about a great boutique....
All those one of a kind items....
Collectibles....
Elegant designer clothing....
All those little luxuries that you don't really need....but just have to have!
Well....I just have to tell you about the amazing boutique I have found!
It seems that whenever I shop there I find some wonderful things!
This "boutique" is actually a chain....I have seen "Boutique Bonne Volonté" in lots of cities all over the country!
Yep....you figured it out....."Boutique Bonne Volonté" is just French for GOODWILL!!!!
But seriously....I was in a little boutique last week....the stuff was amazing....but the prices were ridiculous!!!
I would love to show you some of my recent "Boutique Bonne Volonté" finds!
These little coasters were $.49 each....
They made a fun hostess gift for me to take when I went to coffee at a friend's last week!
This amazing planter still has the $4.99 GW sticker on the bottom.....I have had it for a while, but I always laugh when I think how much something like this would cost in a boutique other than "Boutique Bonne Volonté"!
It has brass handles in the shape of pomegranates and has a wonderful crackle glaze!
Speaking of pomegranates....I actually spent $7 for this little metal one....at GW if you can imagine!!!!
But boutique shopping is all about little luxuries that you really don't need....and I guess I can afford a $7.00 luxury!
"Boutique Bonne Volonté" has designer brands.....
This Brahmin Tote would probably cost in the neighborhood of $300 in another shop...
But at "Boutique Bonne Volonté"....just $8.99
This Lilly Pullitzer strapless top was a steal at $5.99. Even though it was a couple of sizes too big, I bought it...
I figured I could take a few tucks and make it work!!!
Then...I decided that I wanted a halter strap for it...( I don't really do strapless so well)!
I thought maybe I could use ribbon...but that looked dumb!
.....so I cut an inch off the bottom of the hem...and made a strap out of the fabric... It looks pretty good!!
And as for collectibles...."Boutique Bonne Volonté" has an amazing selection!
A Rumrill candle holder......
Vase with built in flower frog......
Glass Flower Frogs......
Silverplate in lots of shapes and sizes....
Ceramics in interesting shapes and patterns...
Fitz and Floyd......
Just like any good boutique...the stock at "Boutique Bonne Volonté" is always changing....
That is to keep patrons returning often to see the latest "good stuff"
I hope you have time to go to the branch of "Boutique Bonne Volonté" closest to you sometime very soon!
And...we would all love to hear about your best FINDS!!!
